Unfortunately, the documentation of historical Blues dancing through film and video
has been slight - especially when compared with the amount of historical information,
photos, and film footage that has been collected for Lindy Hop.
Researching, sharing, and obtaining permission to share any historical documentation (photos, video clips, film clips) is one of the main goals of the Blues Dance Project. In addition, we are also at work to preserve examples of modern social Blues dancing through video, film, and photos.
